Bulk Billing for Kids Under 14 Years of Age
The Village Clinic is a private billing clinic. Children aged under 14 years, pensioners, and health care card holders may be bulk billed. (15 minutes & under). It does not apply to small procedures (wound dressings, sutures, treatment of fractures, etc).
Please note that bulk billing DOES NOT apply to any patient on weekends, public holidays, appointments after 3:00pm on weekdays, small procedures, sutures, treatment of fractures, etc. Our bulk billing kids clinic, Mt. Eliza, is the perfect place for kids under the age of 14.
It is expected that all accounts will be fully paid at the end of the consultation. Payment may be made by cash, credit card (Master Card or Visa), or EFTPOS. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. If you are having difficulties paying your account, please talk to our practice manager with confidence.
The initial consultation for all new patients (irrespective of age) booked as a long consultation will not be bulk billed. We are registered with Medicare for claiming rebates, which means your payments are lodged electronically after your consultation, and the rebate from Medicare will be refunded into your nominated bank account, usually within 24 hours.
Pre-booked consultation fees will apply if you book a long appointment 30 minutes. Accounts not settled on the day will attract a $10.00 accounting fee. DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) cardholders will be Bulk Billed. Medical examinations for insurance, pre-employment, etc. will be billed privately.

Additional Fees

There is an additional fee for completion of forms for use outside of the patient's medical record,
including the following medical reports:
